Last Monday in our school, we celebrated the activity “St. Valentine’s Day”. This feast is celebrated annually on February 14th. This celebration refers to a Catholic priest named Saint Valentine, who lived in Rome in the 3rd Century. There are many stories about St Valentine and over time these stories grew into the legend we know today.
During St. Valentine’s day celebration in our school, students have celebrated in different ways. They were coloring and writing messages about St. valentine’s day using cards, they gave those cards to a friend and played the game “bingo” to practice speaking.
Some students were cutting half – heart papers and writing a short message and its mission was to find the person with the correct half. Then, they had to paste both halves and paste in the notebook. Also, some students were doing some St. Valentine’s presents.
Other students had to do a portrait of their family. First, they pasted some color papers in rolls in cardboard and then its family picture. In the end, students had to show to the class and did a short description.
